It amazes me how dedicated, committed, and passionate so many parents are about their kids in sports, not to mention the financial sacrifices they make for it (which to them is no sacrifice), yet when it comes to doing the SAME for THE THINGS OF GOD, they don't see the earthly & ETERNAL VALUE of it. Even a $40 youth Bible is to expensive for them in comparison to hundreds of dollars of athletic equipment. Tragic.
